Hey everyone,

I wanted to start a thread for everyone applying for Cook Children's nurse residency program, applications are due on the 28th. The track I am applying for the peri-operative track.

I’m so happy this page was made. I had my interview today and it was soo nerve wrecking

Has anyone applied for/heard back from any other residency positions?

Mine was Wednesday and I'm not feeling too confident about the case study LOL, but I hope we all get hired!

I believe they call on July 6th to let us know if we got in.

I applied to Baylor Scott and White and I’m recording my digital interview tomorrow

@Gradgiel I did as well. I applied on Monday, but my other classmates who applied earlier got email notifications regarding interviews.

I applied to Baylor as well. I recorded my interview on Thursday.

I am barely going to send in my video tomorrow. I got the invitation yesterday. Did you feel that a digital interview was better than a zoom interview?

It was easy. You get multiple tries. It's only awkward because you are talking to yourself.

Has anyone got a call early about the residency? I know someone who got the call today for the perioperative track for October cohort.

Really. No I didn't get a call. That sucks.

They haven't closed my application yet. I feel like they usually call everyone who got in on the same day.
