Conveyor belt health care for NP's?

Several PA's mentioned that working for doctors forced them to practice conveyor belt care because the more patients they saw the more money the doctor made and thus the PA's were paid.

They complained that they had very little time to have patient interaction because they needed to keep the patients coming.

Is this the same for NP's?

Yes, it is. That is why I am practicing as an RN, not an NP.
