Hi all,
so I accepted a 1099 contract through agency at a nursing home. They have been reporting a lot less hours than I actually worked. I mean, like, I am cut an entire shift. I report it to HR and she says she will add the hours but never does.. instead she shorts me hours again. Since I am technically self employed.. I am not sure about what steps I may need to follow to get the money owed. Agency is not really backing me and are kind of mute in the whole thing.. they don’t seem to care.. so what would you do?

Dig out your own documentation of hours actually worked, put it together with the documentation submitted by HR and your contract. Take it all to an attorney.
