Contra Costa Nursing fall 2018

Hello everyone, I have yet to see a thread for this years application period for Contra Costa. Just wanted to post to see who else out there is as nervous as I am? Also, which part of April will they notify us if we are selected?

I am nervous as well - especially since I haven't heard anything yet and prior year students said they found out around the first of April....

Has anyone heard anything from CC?

I thought we would hear something by now. I was hoping more people would reply to this thread so we could have some idea of where they are in the process. I can hardly sleep.

I'm so surprised there are no responses on this thread. ������ I tried to call the CC nursing office today but no one answered every time I called...I hope this just means they haven't done the lottery yet...

I wonder if they would tell you if you DIDNT get in. ..

I called 1st thing this morning she answered for me. Results are posted, letters went out last week and the letters for alternates went out just yesterday. I am alternate freaking #24. í ½í¸” She says last year she made it to alternate #26 so fingers crossed, but still stressed. I can't believe no one is replying to our posts either. Well, I wish you luck.

Thanks for the update. Did they tell you over the phone or did you go in to find out? I just called and they wouldn't tell me anything over the phone :(

I live just up the street, so I drove up there. I hear they never give info via telephone. They let 26 into the program and the list goes to 104. I'm assuming they held approximately 14 spots for people on remediation. I sure hope they go far on this alternate list!

Thanks! I live a distance away in Clayton so maybe I will just hope a letter arrived in the mail....I'm not feeling too hopeful though given the odds. :(

I finally went to campus to see where I am - I'm #17 on the alternate list. The woman there said they are expecting 12 remedial spots. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us!

Congrats!! I think you have a very good chance of getting in. She says they went to alt #26 last year and I hear alt #29 the year before so I am hoping but not too hopeful because I am way down the list. Good luck!

Hi all, I am also on the alt list, just submitted my TEAs. Did you guys apply anywhere else, im waiting on chabot's lottery to take place

Hi lala_5100- do you mind if I ask what number alt you are? If you're past #15, did they recently ask you to submit your TEAs results?

I also applied to Chabot and Ohlone.
