considering home health

Published

I am currently working Baylor nights in a hospital. The schedule is great because I get to stay home during the week with my two-year-old, but not so great because my husband works regular business hours which has caused some stress on the relationship. So, I'm considering a job change. I have always been interested in home health and have heard great things. But, how flexible is the schedule? Is it possible to work home health and avoid having my child in daycare?

I work HH and I don't see how you could avoid having your child in daycare. I rarely work past 4:00 and no weekends or holidays. Snow days I stay home as well.

Some agencies have weekend and evening cases and visits which may or maynot be an option for you. The majority of the intermittent visits occur during the day.

Good luck in your search.
