So I'm just wondering if anybody knows of ny BSN programs in Connecticut that allow you to apply and transfer in? I did a year at SCAU as a pre-nursing student and they royally screwed me over so I either had to leave or take an obscene amount of time to graduate (I know a nurse who ended up being there for 8 years because of the same issues). So now I'm finishing my prerequisites at Gateway Commuity College and I should be eligible to apply come the end of the year, but my problem is that every BSN program i come across doesn't accept students from outside schools. I'm going to apply for Gateway's program and if acceptee take the ADN-BSNN bridge route, but I can't help but be kind of bitter that it's going to take me an extra 2 years to get the degree I would have had in half the time if the administrators at SCSU knew how to do their jobs.
