Is my best bet the classified or job search engines ? Anyone who has advice let me know !
I've worked in connecticut same place 23 years! If you like LTC it pays the most almost at least 7 more an hour! They offer more flexibility baylor programs work 2/24 hour shifts get paid for 40! Also alot of hospitals don't hire Lpns. If interested in Ltc facilitys check in phone books or online for ones nearest to where you will be located and just apply ther're always hiring or check sunday's want ads.

Bristol Hospital (where I work) did that years ago (that was the time of a push to an all RN facility). All the LPN's were given two options: go back to school for your RN (and the hospital paid for their trainig and kept their insurance benefits going) or take on the functions of a CNA only. We have kept to that. A large number of our then LPN's did take the opportunity to go back to school and many of them are now still RN's with us.
