ATTN: WAYNE STATE KATIE!!!!!!! Congratulations on starting your program at WSU. I replied to a previous post from like June but I wanted to make sure you got my personal congratulations. (I can't send personal messages due to some minor technicalities some while back) So I am putting it out here for the world to see. OMG I am so happy for you as I heard they only accepted 48 students so YOU were one of the BEST OF THE BEST. Please let all your WSU buddies know about ALL nUrSes as I'd like to chat with some of the senior students. Enough about me Congrats to YOU please let us know how its going. ALL of you who are everywhere you TOO!

Hey candygyrl I was wondering whatever happened to you! I'm so glad that you are loving your program through HFHS (I saw on another thread you posted on that it's going well). Congrats and I'm so happy that you're loving the program!

Wow, I feel special and a little embarrassed at getting such personal attention.:imbar I start tomorrow and am beyond excited. In three of our for classes we're covering 19 chapters this first week  (The syllabus for the fourth class has yet to be posted and I cringe to think how many chapters are assigned for that course). There were only 48 of us picked for the traditional program and I feel so honored and lucky to have earned a spot.

I'll definitely let some of my classmates know and hopefully can catch some senior students to get them on this site (although they're mostly at the hospitals and hardly on campus)

Congratulations to everyone starting their fall 2008 programs! I know we've all worked very hard to get where we are. I wish us all a great semester and hopefully there's not too too much reading :nurse:

Good luck to all students and make sure you apply for an externship after you complete med/surg.

Ditto Michigan RN on applying for an externship program. I just completed an externship this summer and couldn't believe how much info I learned. All 30 of us were very satisfied with our experience.
