Confused

I was offered a position at a hospital on the med/surg unit about 2 weeks ago. They set up my physical, which I did on the 12th. I have heard nothing since, I called and left a message yesterday with no return call  My last day at my current job is next wednesday and I am scared they decided not to hire me and just havn't called !! What is anyones opinion am I getting nervous for no reason???? Thank you for any input.

I have tried I got voicemail I did find out that the nursing supervisor has been out of town.

Thank you for replying I really appreciate it.

I'm thinking they made a formal offer, after all you went for a physical. When was your orientation scheduled to begin. I would go IN PERSON and speak with the CNO if necessary to get things straighten out. Keep me posted.
