I am so confused. I applied to a LTC facility and they require a BCLS within 90 days of hire. What is the difference between BCLS and regular CPR? I'm just having a blond moment---no pon intended. Please help. Thanks:uhoh3:

I had my CPR certification when I got a job at a hospital.
They told me I had to get my BLS certification which I think is
geared more towards healthcare professionals. My hospital
got me in the class and paid for it.
Hope this helps.
Oh ok thank you so much. I went on the american redcross website and they want $70 for the class. Hopefully this hospital will do the same and over me the class and pay as well.
