I am trying to get my BSN, but recently I heard about nurses that have some type of business background or degree. What types of nurses are these? I was told that they work in offices or manage all the nurses. What would you call this type of nurse and how can I get to that position? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They are called nurse managers or nurse administrators and you would need nursing experience for these positions - and plenty of it. Most places require nurse managers to have AT LEAST 5 years of nursing experience. Some places don't and will take anybody - but that is because no experienced nurse would take that position (and there is almost always a very good reason for that).

And the ones with business education usually have an MBA, from what I've seen. Some places are very big on this.
