Members are discussing their negative experiences with Concordia University Irvine's ABSN program. They mention unorganized and poorly instructed classes, lack of empathy from teachers, and the pressure to self-teach. Some members warn against attending the program due to potential repeating of terms, harassment from staff, and the high financial and emotional cost. Others inquire about recent experiences with the program and seek advice on whether it is manageable or if the school is determined to disadvantage students.
This post is a warning to anyone applying to CUI for future semesters. It is one of the worst experiences with a school I've had. The staff are difficult to work with, their requirements and expectations are not reasonable. Avoid this school if you can. They do not treat their students like people, everyone is just a number like cattle. They may have high NCLEX scores but so does almost every other school in California. It is not worth it.
