Has anyone been invited to interview for the ABSN program for Fall 2024?

Hi @Vicky Wong,

I received the interview invitation email on 04/04/24.  On 04/08/24, I received their second email (I was in Group 1) to complete the interview through SparkHire by 04/11/24.  

After the interview they said they'll send out decisions within 4-6 weeks. 

Surprisingly, I already heard back from them on 04/22/24 that I got accepted.  I'm still leaning towards going to Cerritos College since it's cheaper, but am still waiting on a couple of schools.  

You guys got this!!

Hi Everyone!

Is anyone here still waiting on an interview invite? Mine says the last day I will hear about an interview is May 6th so I am getting pretty antsy. Has anyone heard back after the dates specified in the confirmation email? Goodluck to all! 🙂

Hi! My last day to receive an invite was April 22nd and I ended up receiving the invite that day (around 3:30 pm). It seems as though they send out a lot of the invites on the last day. Hope this helps and good luck to you!!

Hello Everyone!

I received an interview invite around 4pm yesterday. Did you guys respond to the email that was sent to you with your picture or send a separate email as a response? I want to make sure I read the instructions properly haha!

I believe you should respond to [email protected] with the picture. I don't think you should respond to the email that was sent to you.

Yes, send a separate email to the email listed in the invite. I know the wording is confusing. Good luck, you've got this!

Thank you Soup & Vicky for the help and kind words🫶! I'm nervous for the interview, I'm definitely going to do the practice one a few times. I hope we all get in and are in the same cohort😊!

Hi Soup2001,

Please let me know if you hear from them regarding a decision as I am getting nervous. I know we have until May 20th to hear but based on hvcna91, I was hoping to hear back earlier.

Hi Vicky, I have not heard anything either yet but will definitely let you know. Praying we both get in 🙌🏼

Hi Everyone😊! 

I am super excited(and nervous) to hear back, I hope we can all get in! I have tried to research around how many applicants apply each term vs how many get in and what the average GPA is for those accepted but its REALLY hard to find that info 😕! For those of you who have applied/gotten in both this term and in past terms, if you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA, patient-care experiences/hours, and other extracurriculars? Do you guys know if they care more about GPA or experiences? I feel like my prior degree GPA is OK but nursing programs especially ABSNs are so competitive OMG but I do have some patient care hours and I was able to do better in my postgrad prereqs. Best of luck to everyone I hope we all hear back soon!
