Concordia Irvine ABSN Fall 2022(CUI)

I deferred my Summer 2022 enrollment to fall 2022, so I just want to start a thread for this program to meet future classmates!!

I also had one class IP, but it was completed a couple days after the deadline so I was able to send in my transcripts for that class a couple days ago.

What was everyone's GPA and grades for pre reqs? Did y'all also have experience?

I was pre-PA before applying to nursing school so I had 4,000 hours of experience as a phlebotomist/medical assistant (PCE hours are required for PA school).

I got my BA in English and went back to school part-time last year to finish all of my science prereqs (I finished in February). My GPA overall was 3.89. I had a W in chem and W in anatomy from undergrad but got As when I retook my classes.

When I did my interview for the Summer cohort, we did not have a mock interview. But our remote interview was pretty easy because we have unlimited time to prep our responses. Not sure if it's the same for the fall cohort. But good luck to y'all!!

For the fall I know that it will be mock style interviews. We will have 2 mins of think time and 2 mins of response time for around 6 questions. ?

What are you using for the 2x2 photo they requested? My friend was in the CUI program and sent a normal business causal picture & used a passport app to crop… it’s pretty vague though

Honestly I just used a photo I already had of me from last month. I was sitting on a bench wearing a dress, it was pretty casual! They probably just want to put a face to the name so I don't think it matters too much ?

When you guys sent your email to [email protected] to confirm your interview did you get a confirmation email? I did not.

I did not! I don't think they are sending confirmation, just the interview link by 4:00 pm today.
