Hello,
Im wondering if anyone out there has gone to or is going to start school here? I just took a tour of the school and I LOVE IT !!! I also checked out American Career College in Orange County but by far this school really impressed me. Im supposed to take the CPAT test on Thursday and am really nervous. They did tell me if I dont pass the first time I can retake the test and they will help me so I can pass the second time. If I get in to the program I wont start till August so I do have time still to get everything straight. My main concern is the financing portion, I already have student loans out and because of how much I make I wont qualify for any grants which means if I get the full allowance of student loans ( not sure that I will) I still have to come up with another $14k in private loans. I am a single mom so also the schedule will be hard even though Im only going part time ( T,W,Th 6-10) I work full time M-F 5am-2 and I work in OC but live in Rancho Cucamonga which is a big commute. I, really nervous if I am doing the right thing or if I should just put off my dreams till my son is out of school or atleast driving ( he's 12 now in the 7th grade). Any advice, I am really really nervous - Im just not sure if Im being realistic about taking on so much right now, plus my job has been doing cutbacks and we just received a 10% cut in pay so I feel like Im running out of time at work and with what I do it really wont count as experience I cant ake any where else that I will make nearly as much at.
