Hi I'm attending Walden university for my MSN in education. My question is how intense is it to complete the hours on time? I have to complete 144 hrs and each class (2) is 12 weeks apiece. I wanted to find another job working Monday through Friday instead of working 12hr shifts in the hospital. But I'm just trying to gather some information before taking that step. So if anyone has any advice on what I should do, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

I did not find it difficulty to complete the practicum hours. I guess it depends on what you choose to do as your practicum. I work full-time. I teach in an ADN program. So lots if work hours and managed to do required practicum hours.
Ok that makes sense. I'm hoping to do my Praticum hours either in the classroom or clinically because I know the hours can be flexible. So with you working full time, did you just complete your hours on Saturdays or some evenings doing the week?
Pretty much. I took a couple days off during the week when needed to meet with someone. It really wasn't bad
Oh ok thank you for your input!

I finished my MSN last August at Walden, I did double shifts to get my practicum hours in, the paper work was a little intense. But it was only for a few weeks

Congrats on finishing your MSN! So in your opinion and from your experience, with a Monday through Friday job, will it be possible for me to finish on time? And I mean in terms of the paperwork and being at a site? I work in a hospital now, but Im feeling so burnt out now! Where did you do your hours at?
