There is an RN1 and RN2 but it goes by years of experience

In my previous state of residence, you need a BSN minimum to get hired in a hospital.

No BSN differentiation. Which makes me laugh every time someone posts about hospitals REQURING BSN's. I'm in the midwest

My previous employer offered monetary incentives for professional certifications and clinical ladders, but it was a bleak place to work.
My current employer offers no incentives whatsoever for certifications and offers no clinical ladder program, but my stress level is reduced at this job.

Yes, yes, and yes, southeast. It is because all of those things play into what level nurse you are, which affects your pay grade. CN1, CN2, CN3, etc., etc.. Edited to add, this is not common in the southeast, my hospital is the exception rather than the rule.

No, no and no. I'm in California. My previous employer in Texas paid 50 cents extra for BSN new grads, but after the initial hire, it was up to the individual to negotiate increases.

My last employer paid $1/HR for certifications but nothing for BSN. My first employer paid 0.50/HR for BSN and more for certifications that was in Southwest VA.
