May 13, 201610 yr Experts My previous employer offered monetary incentives for professional certifications and clinical ladders, but it was a bleak place to work.My current employer offers no incentives whatsoever for certifications and offers no clinical ladder program, but my stress level is reduced at this job.
May 13, 201610 yr Yes, yes, and yes, southeast. It is because all of those things play into what level nurse you are, which affects your pay grade. CN1, CN2, CN3, etc., etc.. Edited to add, this is not common in the southeast, my hospital is the exception rather than the rule.
