If you don't work in another cmpact state, you'll need a new license in the state where you do want to work. It's just a matter of applying, making sure you meet their criteria (CEUs, etc.) and paying for it.

but applying for a new license includes taking nclex all over again?

no as long as you meet requirements you shouldn't have to sit nclex again as you will be applying for endorsement.

You mentioned endorsement... is this what i will need if i will transfer to other state like FOR INSTANCE New Jersey or New York or Florida?
New Jersey or New York or Florida isnt included among the NM compact list. What about this concern?
Tnx Allnurses
