Hi fellow nurses,

I am looking for an RN to take me under their wing and precept me during the summer for clinicals. I need 90 hours at a school or local health department in the St. Petersburg / Tampa, FL area. If anyone is willing to precept me I would greatly appreciate it!! I am attending ISU's LPN to BSN distance program. I am an LPN that currently works at a local hospital in the emergency department and am in my second to last semester of school for my BSN.

You'll probably have a better chance of connecting with someone if you actually go or call nurses in your area, rather than post on here. There may or may not be a Tampa-area public health RN on here, and this forum's "culture" favors anonymity. I'd call your local county health departments or public schools--the districts should have the RNs' contact info either on the district site, or under the office or staff directories on each individual school page.
