Communication oops

I am annoyed. I had an interview at one of our sister hospitals, it is smaller and closer to my house. Never heard anything, thought it went well, but radio silence.

I decided to call the recruiter and she said she would look into it and get back to me. "They will not be offering you a position" I was kind of sad. It went well. I interviewed with a clinical lead, not the manager and I didn't want to be pushy-i thought they filled the position internally.

Had a friend contact the manager. She thought I decided to stay where I was or did something different. She IS interested in me! I should have followed up with her directly.

This could be a great opportunity. :)
