I will soon be on the neurology floor and wanted to know some of the common medications you see on the neuro floor so I can become more familiar with them

Anti-epileptics, commonly: dilantin, tegretol, keppra, lyrica, for a start.
Strokes: lovenox, heparin, ACE-Is, statins, ASA, plavix, mannitol.
Dementia/Alz: namanda, cogex, aricept
Movement: carbadopa, levadopa, rasageline
Do you have any idea what the predominant population will be? Some are a general mix, some will be oriented towards one/few of the sub-specialties.
