Coming back with REVENGE

Hey everyone! In T-5 days I will be taking my NCLEX for the second time and this time I plan on conquering the beast. I honestly believe the only reason I failed the first time is because I didn't take my time and let my anxiety get to me. However I have still been reviewing. Yesterday I took the Kaplan readiness test and scored a 64 on it, and just finished 395 questions from the priority section of the LaCharity Prioritization, Delegation, and Assessment where I scored a 66 on (262/395 correct). I am going to continue to do UWorld and the question bank from the NCSBN leading up to the exam, but I really feel like I can pass this thing. Just wanted some more inspiration/positive reinforcement leading up to 8am this coming Tuesday. Thank you all!

Sounds like you are ready! Positive self talk Goes a long way. After the exam starts, maybe take a moment to close your eyes, take a deep breath and slow your breathing before you begin. Also, anytime you start to feel that anxiety come back, take a break. You can take as many as you need in that 6 hours. It kind of helped me to snap out of it and get out of my head for a minute.

Only pearls of wisdom I have are remediate your Kaplan tests to fill in the holes. You've got this. Good luck!

Thanks!! Definitely going to remediate on everything. I took both of the UWorld predictors and scored "very high chance of passing" so that makes me feel even more like it's not a content area, it's just that I didn't take my time and became anxious... Thank you for the advice though! Out of 270 views you are the first to say something, seems like most people only feel the need to comment on a post whenever it's about the PVT.. I'll be sure to let you know how it goes!
