Columbus Technical College (GA) 2016!!

Hey, I was looking to see if there are any others who are anticipating to apply to CTC. I have everything done except taking the NLN. I also have Microbiology and Algebra left, which I am taking this summer. I have A's in all my pre-req except English 1101 (B). I am so excited and cannot wait to apply. I have been through so much to get this done and better me and my little ones life.:)

I talked to an admission lady yesterday, and she said most people applying have a 4.0 and that a man with a 3.72 gpa was initially declined last year. This really scared me but i am not going to stop having hope.

Check out the link above, many of them did not have a 4.0 so please do not be discouraged. I highly believe people are accepted if they receive a 4.0. But other stuff matter too, like compass scores, nln scores and class retakes. You see she said most people but not all have 4.0.

What is your gpa and your test scores for compass and nln, I believe there still is a fighting chance. I take my NLN Monday and I am so nervous, but lets keep the faith. I also knew of a girl who got accepted and she had a C in a course and still had to take one over that she failed, she actually told me she didnt even think she would get in, her NLN was 121 and im sure her gpa was no more then a 3.4 or 3.5.

Wow thanks a lot. That was very encouraging! My gpa is a 3.7. Ill take the nln on d 28th and I made 83 in reading, and a 97 on writing . Im going to retake the reading

Did you take some of your classes from CTC? Or from another college, I also heard CTC students get first priority. That also can be a plus for you.

I also applied for the 2016 ADN program and am beyond ready for the next 5 weeks or so to be over.

Congrats guys!! I did miss the entrance exam by 6 points. I made a 109 and it was my first time taking it, so i am out next year. Goodluck to you guys, and keep us updated!
