Nursing Students School Programs

I recently submitted an application to CSCC for the Associate program that starts this fall 2017. I was wondering if any current students could give me some insight on how long it takes for them to get back with you and the acceptance rate. I have above the 2.6 required GPA and got a 83 on my HESI (75 required) I also submitted my application within the first hour of the application being open (they were having technical issues with the website. I was told it is a first come first serve basis and if you meet all requirements then you get accepted. IS THIS TRUE???

Hi I'm in the same boat as you. I am really worried because the application was so messed up that I didn't submit on time. I submitted on Friday at 8:40 because I called on Wednesday morning and she said they were closing it so everyone had a fair shot. But now I'm thinking that other people were able to apply on Wednesday?

I got mine in around 9:45 on Tuesday right before the application closed but because of the technical errors I had to dispute my GPA bc it said I didn't have the required one even though I do. Did you get a confirmation email? I'm hoping that since it is still open that means there are still spots in the fall meaning we will be ok!

And I don't think the application was open at all on Wednesday, just for that little time on Tuesday then again Friday!

I didn't get mine until about 8:40 on Friday. I had to dispute my GPA too but when I log back into the application now it doesn't show that I disputed it, does yours? I'm so stressed about this because I wasn't able to get my application in on Tuesday and some people could so I feel it isn't fair. Also, I believe the application is for fall and spring both. Once fall is full they move on to filling spring. But I really want to get in in fall í ½í¸©. Did you apply to traditional or blended?

Okay that eases my mind!! It wasn't working for me at all on Tuesday when I tried though (I meant to say Tuesday previously, not Wednesday)

I applied for traditional. I actually wanted blended but because the site was glitching I couldn't click on the blended option so I did traditional. If you go on your CSCC email you should see an email saying your dispute was resolved and your application was submitted. If you don't have one I would call them.

Did you get that email right away? Or did it take awhile. I didn't get an email but they called and said it's on file. I bet you will be fine since you applied on Tuesday. Do you know if they mail us letters of acceptance or email them to us?

I got the email Thursday, i guess they had to go through all the applications from Tuesday manually because almost everyone had to dispute their GPA or the HESI wouldn't upload or something. I think they are mailed but I'm not 100% sure. I think they change how they do things each year. Which track did you apply for?

I wonder how many people were actually able to submit on Tuesday? It wouldn't work at all for me :( I hope that doesn't screw me over. I applied for the blended track!

Also I said that wrong. The first day was Wednesday not Tuesday my bad. I am not sure, I don't even know how many they accept each year, do you? I think they close the application when they fill up, or they say "fall is full if you are applying now you are applying for spring" that's what a Health and Human Services advisor told me they did before.

I'm crossing my fingers. I put all my eggs in one basket and didn't apply anywhere else so at this point I would even take spring! I really think you will be okay since you applied in that first hour. I have no idea how many they accept. I know traditional is somewhere in the 100's but I'm not sure about blended.
