Columbia University Masters Direct Entry (Hybrid MDE) - Fall 2025

Anyone has submitted an application for this program? I decided to rollover my previous application to this one, but a bit pessimistic that they would actually accept me 🙃

I submitted one this past Sunday, the deadline was from yesterday. With it being the MDE program but newly introduced in a hybrid format, I'm really looking for others who have applied and what to expect. I'm nervous!!

Best of luck! I have been accepted to a different school, but prefer this hybrid program because it will work much better with my family. Did you ever get an exact date of when they will share acceptance announcements?

Congratulations! Which school if you don't mind me asking? I emailed the department and they said there is no exact date but mid-July is when we should here back.

I received an offer from MGH, UMass and Duquesne; I have declined the offers from UMass and Duquesne. I was previously rejected by Columbia, and feeling like I would be rejected again because I did not tweak much of my previous cycle application. But thank you for letting me know that we should hear back by mid-July! Did you also apply for the Summer cycle? Or would this be your first time applying?

Hello! Has anyone heard anything yet about the Hybrid MDE program? Last I heard, we would receive decisions by mid-July, which I expect to be sometime this week. Did you hear back from admissions yet, or have you heard back about an expected date we should have an answer? Just feeling a bit nervous and wondering if I should expect a decision today.

No I was thinking this week or next week. I believe they send an email out when they start releasing decisions

I emailed them last night and they said that we can expect a decision next week. FWIW, they were also delaying decisions in the last application cycle for the regular MDE; so I am not too hopeful that we would hear back by early next week.
