Hey! I know the deadline passed 1 week ago but I wanted to start this thread for those who applied and want to discuss.

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you think it's more affordable to live on campus or find housing off-campus?

Honestly im not sure because I don't know how much it is to dorm! My boyfriend rents his studio in Queens, NY off the A train for 1,400$ about an hour away from campus. BUT if youre okay living with people and renting a room I know people that rent rooms for $500 by the yankee stadium or in Brooklyn about an hour away. It just depends tbh!

Hi everyone! Sharing that I got accepted, too :) I am waiting to hear back from University of San Diego, where I live, before making a decisions. Congrats to all who received acceptances so far, and good luck to the rest!

Congrats to everyone who got in already! I wonder if they're releasing decisions according to when they received applications? Did those who got accepted today apply earlier in the cycle? I applied a week before the deadline and haven't heard back about my decision yet😬

I don't think so! I received my acceptance today and had applied for the MDE program an hour before it closed haha... their initial email today said they would be rolling out acceptances in waves over the next 2 weeks!

Does anyone know the acceptance rate for the MDE or MDE/DNP program?

Hey guys,

if we got accepted and didn't get the financial aid/scholarship offer in the email, does that mean we didn't get any? I'm a little worried now, and am still in the process of applying to other programs; so I'm wondering about the cost.
I did see a: if you have already submitted your FASFA by the deadline, please expect to receive information from the financial aid office in 10-15 days..

Hey guys!

Also got the lucky email today😁
Has anyone decided if they are going for Visiting Day?

UPD Tried filling in the response form - anyone figured out how to pay the deposit?

Where do you see the financial aid?

My acceptance letter for the FNP track MDE/DNP (in the portal) mentions a scholarship amount in the third paragraph. Re-reading it now, I am realizing this is maybe just a scholarship and not financial aid because the next sentence after the scholarship amount says, "If you have already submitted your FAFSA by the deadline, please expect to receive information from our Office of Financial Aid in 10-15 business days."

So I guess that means I could still get financial aid because I did submit the FAFSA. Does that seem true? Sorry for the confusion, and I hope that's true because the scholarship isn't enough to make the program reasonable for me.

We're on the same boat🥲

We got this, positive vibes only!

Hey is it a link on the application page or a link on the email?

You get an email that links you back to the portal and on the top it says "view update" and you click on that and it shows their decision!

Sorry for causing confusion on here! I re-read my email and I think financial aid is coming later (like the email says - I have that exact same sentence). I just got confused because they mention a scholarship amount in my acceptance letter right before that FAFSA sentence.

I started a Facebook group for admitted students. Search for Columbia School of Nursing MDE Admitted Students 2025. I am not sure if the school will also be setting one up but this is an unofficial one for now.

For those that accepted, how did you pay the deposit?

I'm trying to figure that out. I sent in my response form but there's no place on the portal to pay?
