Who has applied for admission for Fall 2016? How long do you think we'll have to wait for letters?

I called like a week ago and they told me the letters will be sent out the end of this month:)

I got my acceptance letter last week. Who else will be attending the Franklin campus? I am soooooo excited!!!!!

WhAt was your act score and gpa?

They use an 8 point scale from ACT and A&P1 grade. ACT >24 = 4 pts and A&P 1 A =4pts. I had 8 pts because I had an A in AP1 and a 26 ACT. They also offer a pt if you already have a degree which would help if you made a B or C in AP1 or had a lower ACT score. GPA is farther down the scale in rankings.

Yay! Did any of you take the act residual on campus? I've been out of college for a 1.5 year so I'm sure I don't know anyone. Besides the faces I met at the ACT.

I think I only had seven points. The ACT I winged and made a 21 (2), A in AP (4), and previous bachelors degree(1).

I am actually extremely shocked that I was accepted for fall. I only had 6 of 8 points (A&P-B,22 ACT). I've got a decent GPA but not one I would consider very competitive. I've stalked allnurses for months and from what I read 6 points rarely gets you in. I thought this round I wouldn't get in and I'd retake A&P over the summer and reapply for January. I'm finishing up my last non-nursing class (Micro) this semester so I figured I'd atleast apply and see what happened. So glad I did!
