any application tips?
Find a CRNA mentor, I joined Diversity CRNA organization. Make sure you're working in an ICU that is busy such as a level 1 trauma hospital, I worked in SICU. Become charge RN, precept and join committees. Assess your grades, especially in Science. I took two grad courses to boost my GPA. Advanced patho at Rutgers and advanced Pharm at University Mass Lowell. If you got anything lower than a B in a Sci you should probably retake it. Stay positive. Shadow a CRNA, or work Perdiem or volunteer in areas where there are CRNAs practicing. In your essay give examples how those interactions lead you towards this path. Practice mock interviews out loud with friends/family or a CRNA. Just be yourself and keep your answers clear and to the point.
You have to know what a CRNA does and explain how they are different to anesthesiologists. You should research the programs you want, know the names of the program directors, and join the info sessions. Have good questions to ask the faculty during your interview. Hope this helps

Hi Rose how was your grad courses? Do you think they can be taken at the same time? Are the courses proctored or open book? Looking for programs to take advanced science courses. TIA
Hi, the graduate courses were great, I was highly motivated to get all my courses done by a certain date. I researched what was available at the time and signed up. You can't worry too much just pick a course and complete it. One course at a time while working full time is not bad at all. You can take two courses if they are available at the same time. Some courses were proctored and some are no longer available online and have returned to in person. Look into Rutgers, New England, UMass, and University Rochester for online grad courses. Or just Google non matriculated graduate pathophysiology for example.

which courses do you recommend to take if undergrad GPA is low but ABSN GPA is high? will they look only at the ABSN GPA because my undergrad was biology (ba) not nursing.
