I have been following this site for awhile and love reading reviews.
I 'm wondering if anyone here attended online RN-BSN program from Colorado Tech. Online??
It sounds promising..
PROs:
Tuition is affordable, $290 per credit, good thing is that books are included. E-books I should say
No Clinicals.
There's no exam's (Although I wonder if that's good or bad?)
Grades are based on discussion boards, papers, and projects.
5 week courses.
CONs:
The online RN-BSN program is not accredited. I wonder if I should pursue this even if the program is not accredited. It is accredited by higher education and state of Colorado but not nursing accreditation like NLNAC or CCNE.
I would avoid any school/program that lacks CCNE or NLNAC accreditation. Is this school seeking accreditation, at the very least? It's great that they have regional accreditation, but .... I'd contact them and question them about the CCNE/NLNAC angle.
