Collin County Fall 2016

Published

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone has applied for Collin Nursing program for fall 2016

I took my PSB for the first time on Feb 4, and I got my results today which was a 5 :(

my Stats: overall 26 points

A&P I- A

A&PII- A

Micro-A

Cumulative:

Eng. B

Gen Psych.A

Humanities . B

Life span. B

so my points aren't very high, and I have no honors courses... but it doesn't hurt to try Its taken me forever to get this point with 3 kids under 4 I'm really hoping I get accepted!!

Has anyone gotten a planner yet? I think paolahevia got one awhile back ago. I am trying to find out that will last until next December (I hate switching in the middle of a semester). Also has anyone started studying the terms? 6 weeks to go everyone!!! :D

Ive seen 18month planners at target :) Yes I have been studying those terms!!

Got mine at Michaels. Its called happy planner.

I thought about getting the happy planner, but got one offline instead! I am just now studying the terms.

.. i will start studying next week after my summer class.

What class are you taking? I just finished up chemistry. Did anyone get a rolly backpack for school?

nutrition... how was your class? not sure about rolly yet, maybe?!?

It was a lot for 5 weeks, but I survived! I may get one once school starts so I know if I will need it or not.

yeeey!! have a great rest of the summer! can't wait to see you all in august :)

Did anyone buy a pen light, clipboard for clinicals, or socks for our uniforms? I have written down white socks from orientation, but I am not sure if we need the long white socks or if we can use the no-show white socks.

@paolahevia Hi! I was reading old posts, and noticed your circumstance was similar to mine. I retook A&PI, I was ill equipped when i initially enrolled back in 2012. I have been a nervous wreck trying to figure out whether or not I would be a viable candidate due to my repeat A&P I course but it alas it looks as though HOPE remains. Most commentators don't make mention of repeat science courses but coming across your thread has eased my trouble heart. You were accepted, which means I too stand a chance. I have a 4.0 science gpa, a 3.75 support gpa and scored in the 80s and 90s on the PSB.
