Also, I just found these khan acadamey medicine videos on youtube that are free to watch. They are great for jogging memory and terminology, especially for organ functions. I think I had a little brain dump since my last A and P class.

I have more anxiety now than before acceptance! The earliest starting day I saw for maymester classes was 5/15. So that is probably a good ball park of when we would start.

Okay thanks so much! Oh that is so good to know! I will check his videos out! I feel the same way! I actually just dropped A&P2 today. I was retaking it because I did not think I would get in until the next application period, but I do not need that added stress now that I know I am in. Are you waiting to buy anything until we know more at orientation? As soon as we know what books we need I want to buy them so I can get started reviewing and reading some.

I bought a stethoscope lol, thats about it. Im waiting for orientation before I buy any books. Which is essentially tuition!

Where did you buy stethoscope? How much it cost you? You may also buy the device to measure the blood presure :) I will check libraries for any nursing books. So far I heard that pharmocology is the toughest class...I want to be prepared.

I got it on amazon. MDF Acoustica deluxe light weight dual head stethoscope for 25 and its usually 70. Reviews are really good! My wife used littmans and said this sounds just as clear

Are y'all just dressing casual, but nice for orientation? It's SO CLOSE! ahhh! :)

When I went to turn in my notification of agreement paper, the recruiter said to wear scrub pants and to bring $15-20 so we can buy shirts but ill prob bring a change of clothes if I see people dressing nice. I'm really excited to meet everyone !!

I was not told about scrub pants. I think that clothes should be comfortable. It is a whole day orientation and a lot of sitting...Anyone knows if we will have a lunch break?
