Did you apply for spring 2017? I just found out this change the other day and im so upset because its too late for me to retake the psb.ob the old point scale I was gunna have 31/34 points but now with the new point scale im only gunna have 31/43. Its mainly because of how they redid the psb. I dont think I have a chance now of getting in for spring 17
I am also in the process of completing my pre-requisites for the Collin nursing program. I won't be able to even think of applying until Spring 2018. I also noticed the brand new selection criteria. Will this make it even more difficult? Also, will honors classes still give you an extra point as I do not see this included now.
No they took that off.i dont think it made it more difficult necessarily but they now give you points for lifespan pysch which before wasnt required.i would've done that class sooner if I had known about the change.the psb is the major difference. I took the psb in January and got all 6 points. But according to their new scoring I got 12/17 points.i only finished 2/5 sections.i didnt think it was hard but i was fighting the clock..they dont give you much time
I ended with 31/43 too. I haven't taken the life span and composition 1 so I lose some points. Beside that, I took general psychology and fine arts in other colleges. I have no idea how they are going to calculate the points based on this. I am disappointed with the sudden change they made. In my opinion they should post the change one or two semesters before and put the effective date on it so the students aware of it and can adjust their schedules accordingly.
