I am working on the words and trying to figure out what kind of math will be on the test. I really want to start reading but have no idea where to start, other than the fundamentals book. What are you studying?

I am still working on vocab and I didnt know math would he on the first test. The math test is like 8 weeks in before clinicals. I think dosage calculations will be on that and conversions. I am going to study my pharm tech books to brush up on that and review some A and P. You could check out a book from the library that is on math for healthcare professionals. .

I am not sure if it is or not so I just figured I would start working on it. I did find a math for nursing exam on line that I printed out and am working through. A friend of mine took Dosage Calculations at Brookhaven so she is going to help me. What books are you going to take the first day or will you just take your laptop? I am hoping there will be an email or something to give us a heads up on what we can do to get started. I keep checking to see if any of my courses show up on canvas so I can look at the syllabus.

I am hoping they send out an email before the first day. I have no idea what to bring. I have lab so maybe just my laptop and supplies like my stethoscope. I am so excited but really nervous not knowing what to expect.

I also have lab. I am curious about what we have to wear. Scrubs and white shoes? Will white tennis shoes work or does it have to be the all leather like the ones for clinical? No badge yet. I am still working full time until the 11th. I am going over on the 12th to get the badge. They can give it to you that day, right?

yes scrubs for lab. The all white leather shoes for lab is the same for clinical. I believe we have until the day before class starts to get the badge
