hey guys, I'm applying to the College of Staten Island Nursing AAS program for the Spring 2025 semester. I already submitted my application and my NLN-NEX scores. I took the NLN the same day the applications opened. I scored the 84th Percentile (COMP 245/300) first try. Anyone in the CSI CUNY nursing program at CSI RN..any tips and if you got in what was your NLN score, GPA (pre-req AND overall)? thank you!!

(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES PER TERMS OF SERVICE) is good. Study his homework's then slides also ask him what you will be expecting on the exam, communicates well with students
Thank you!! But don't forget you took the NLN PAX exam which was graded out of 200. This semester is the first semester of the new NLN NEX exam graded out of 300. So your score was 111/200 and I think its 61st percentile. Just retake the exam and aim for 80th percentile and above.
I studied the online NLN prep bundle and the math prep on the NLN website helped me so much. I first purchased the exam and then took it before studying. I looked at the questions I got wrong and went on YouTube and searched how to do those problems. Keep doing that over and over again until you get 90s+
(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST NAMES PER TERMS OF SERVICE) is nice but I didn't do so well on the first test, I gotta lock in for the next 3. I desperatley need an A in his class. Does he curve final grades?

Hey. Are the questions on the nln practice tests the same as the questions on the actual exam?
flowersarepretty said:hi no they arent, only 2 showed up out of the 165 questions
Thank you. I know this may be weird but do you remember some of the words on the verbal portion? So I can get a clue for how hard it will be? I memorized all the words that were on the practice test but they may not even show up on the test
