College of the Sequoias (COS) - Spring 2026

Hello all, I wanted to created this group for those that are applying to the COS nursing program for Spring 2026. I will be applying with about 78 points. Hope for the best for everyone applying!

I'm also applying for Spring 2026. If they count my language points, I'll be applying with 75. If not 70. Which is not as high as I'd hoped for, but I'm staying positive. No prior medical experience, 85% on the TEAS, and 4.0 GPA on all my science pre reqs.

I applied for Spring 2026 with 96.5 points. For question 8, you can earn points for the Medically Under-Served area. According to the app, if your address has a green check mark next to Primary Care HPSA, you can get the 7.5 points. If accepted, that's where I stand; if not, I have 89 points. I scored 92% on the TEAS, have a 4.0 GPA in all my prerequisites, have medical experience, and speak another language. Best of luck to everyone!

when do letter get sent out ?

I heard last week of September or first week of October. Supposedly, if you get a while envelope, that's a rejection letter or you'll be put on the waitlist. However, I heard that if you receive a manila envelope, that means you got in.

Hi I applied with an 83.2 so hopefully it's high enough. I  got a 4.0 in all prerequisites, have medical experience and a second language. Goodluck to everyone!

Hi everyone! I applied with 83.5 points (if language proficiency and medically under-served area are accepted.) I also got a 4.0 in all prerequisites and an 88 on TEAS. I wish you all the best!
