I got accepted to the Fall 2020 but took a leave of absence so I will be starting this Spring

And did you not get in as an alternate? With 73 points I would that you would've. Maybe they aren't taking a full cohort.

I relate! So brutal. If don't get in up there then I'm definitely not getting in down here. Long Beach City College had 1300 applicants this time and they usually only have 700! What the hell

Wow! I feel like nursing programs are more impacted than ever! Have you looked into other schools that are close by? Lots of application windows are opening November. If I don’t get in this cycle, I’ll reapply to COS and apply to West Hills (along with other schools that are farther).

I know, it's insane. I've applied at 6 schools total and they are all down here in LA/OC area. I'm not competitive down here yet but at COS I should be. Which schools have app windows opening in Nov?

Sorry, I meant *starting November! COS reopens November. If you’re interested in a private BSN program, I think National University (Fresno location) is currently taking apps; their deadline is November. West Hills  + Fresno City apps open January. Modesto Junior College opens Feb!

COS had 450 applications. 
 

Do not be discouraged about not getting in. Email and inquire about why you did not get in. The will tell you. They also verify everything so if anything was wrong you get deducted points from the total you believe you had, that happened to me last semester. I have been applying since the application of Spring 2017.
 

Its crazy to me to think that just a few years ago people would get in with just mid 50s in points. I wish you all luck!

Oh my goodness! ? That scares me!! Thank you. Good luck to you!! I hope we all get in. Sorry, but would you mind letting us know how many points you applied with?
