Does anyone attend College of Mount Saint Vincent in the Bronx, NY? What do you think of the program? How hard was it to get in based on your stats? Do you feel prepared to take the NCLEX? Do they help you find jobs? Any experiences please!

I go there and regret. The professors literally don't teach us and expects us to know the work. We only go there to take exams that's it. There isn't any live instruction, just slides and a textbook. Only some lab and clinical professors teach though. That's about it.

DO NOT attend this school I am in the ABSN and trying to get out. don't say you were not warned. seriously think before you come to to this school, alot of things on their website are outright lies. don't get trapped or worse, kicked out!

I am really sad to hear this. I just got accepted into the Fall 2021 semester and put a deposit down. CMSV is the only acceptance I got so far and was really excited about attending. Can you please give me more details on your experience?

I attended the program in Fall of 2020. It was the worst experience of my life. They just want your money so they accept basically anyone who meets the requirements. The professor don't teach at all. All they give us was slides and maybe and audio or video to go with the slides. The rest is basically up to you and they don't make the easy. There is no way you can learn how to be a nurse and think like a nurse with out being able to interact with your teacher and ask questions for things you don't know. It's waste a time and money. A lot of cohorts have either failed out in the first semester or they have failed at least one class already. If you failed two classes you are kicked out of the program. There is absolutely no resources to help you learn material you just have figure it out on your own. Good Luck

Did anyone graduate from the school or still attending? What alternative schools are there to go to?

@aniqueee @Ak Jon I received an acceptance to that school, but I'm so happy I don't have plans to attend because I offered an admission to another school to my dream program. Seriously, that would have been a tragedy— Thanks for the info. I hope everything is good with you guys.
