Hi!

I was wondering if anyone here applied to the College of Marin for fall 2022.

Hi guys.  I also applied to COM for 2022.  This wait is killing me. I'm checking my email every 30 minutes. I have 84 points, so I'm hopeful but still anxious.  A classmate of mine got 94, if you can believe that, and she still hasn't heard anything. Like others here have said, my counselor said they would probably send out the first round of admits this week sometime.   I wish us all luck!

Oh man you guys are in!
Did you guys only applied to COM?

good luck to all!

I hope! I know they gave everyone 79 and above first-round admittance last year, so I'm waiting with bated breath! I applied to a school in Fresno, a lottery school, and didn't make it.  I also applied to two state programs but am still taking my stats class.  There was a misunderstanding; I thought the stats class could be in progress, but it cant, so I did not get into either state program.  I believe my classmate applied to 3, but I can't remember which other one besides SRJC and COM.  This waiting is so awful, LOL!!

Where did you apply to?

Has anyone else added up their criterion points multiple times to ensure a mistake wasn't made? Or had nightmares about forgetting something small on the application that disqualifies you?

Hopefully this year will be less competitive, I heard last year was the most competitive one? because many programs were closed.

God, I hope so.  I would hate to have to wait another year and try to tackle that new TEAS 7 test.  I studied for 4 months for TEAS 6 and only got an 82.

Unfortunately I did poorly in my TEAS, I went to visit my family in my home country (haven’t seeming my family in 5 years)and I got covid there. I could not study at all for the TEAS ?

You did amazing getting 82! It’s such a hard test ?

It was the hardest test I've ever taken.  Do you know if they send out denial letters also? I thought I saw somewhere that the denial letters were sent out with first-round admits.

Yeah, I'm curious to how you guys are calculating these points? I've rewatched the orientation video and the info from there, I'm getting 76 points. Stats are 3.8 GPA, 85.3 TEAS, BA degree, and need to work form.

Yes, you have 76

3.8 = 30 points

85=30 points

need to work = 1

BA= 15 points

The criteria for next year are totally different.

@guy2345Hey.   I also have my CNA license which adds another 10 points for me.  I know folks that got in last year with a 74.  I'm wishing us all much luck.

Yeah, I'm getting low 80s for the updated criteria..  76 isn't good enough, oh well...

Isn't the CNA included in the max 15 section, which also includes education?
