College of the Mainland LVNSpring 2016

Hello! I am searching for any past or future College of the Mainland students who have attended or experienced the LVN program. I have applied for the Spring 2016 program as a transfer student from San Jac. I was unsuccessful there but I do have to say the foundation I recieved is amaZing! I wonder what the program is like at COM.

Hey again did you take the tsi test?

Yes I did. I only took the reading part. A friend of mine told me they made her take the entire exam when she went to the college. Tell them you are applying for nursing program. They should know it's only the reading portion. It's real easy and only 25 questions. Good luck!

I think it was 390-I made a 380. You can take it as many times as you want. I took it 3 timesí ½í¸‚my first attempt was 372

And I'm sorry, you asked for minimum-I believe that was 350

Ok I don't know why the lady told me there was no minimum score . Sorry for questions , but do you know how they calculate the scores?

Yeah, I'm looking at my form now and it says 351 minimum and the max is 390. You can also read about it on TSI interpreting your score-College board

I am excited! I completed the application for the LVN program. I pray that I am accepted. Worried that my points may be low after reviewing some of the points others have posted. Now for the waiting period.
