Anyone applied to COM for fall 2013?

I live in Dickinson (green caye). I love it here. The books from the bookstore for the first semester totaled 1800. I bought many used/older editions, I spent 600. The scrubs are about 40 dollars (Cherokee red scrubs) and the patch for the Scrubs are 8 dollars in the bookstore. I only bought one set so far ( 3 semesters in). You do go to clinical in the first semester but only in the second 8 weeks.

No, you don't submit fingerprints until the last semester. The background check took like a week to get the results in. They will email you a copy.

I had in the 120s-130s. I know people who got in off the alternate list with points in the low 80s

Oh okay! That makes me feel better... I have been so antsy, I cant remember the last time I was the anxious over something! By any chance do you work and go to school?

Yes, I work when I can. I am a bartender so I get my own shifts but others work in the program. It's easier to work during the first semester. The second semester needs more study time. The summer is VERY FAST, only 6 weeks for 2 classes and clinical. It would be hard to work. I am not sure about the rest of the semesters yet. Ive heard the fourth semester is pretty easy and not demanding but the last is killer. If your job is willing to work with you and you make a very strict schedule, you can make it work.

Letter came in but can't open until I get home from work!! So nervous! I'm such a pessimistic sometimes .. I'm so nervous that something went wrong with my application and I won't get in even though you have to meet with an advisor for them to clear you ..or aleast that's what I thought the meeting thing was
