College of the Mainland ADN Program *Spring 2016*

Hello all!

This is my first post (as I am brand new to the forums). I've always ended up at allnurses.com via Google for any questions I've had. Anyways, I've recently submitted an application for the Spring of 2016 at College of the Mainland. I am currently waiting (impatiently) for a response from the Nursing Department. I've come to realize that the deadline has stretched from August 1st to August 15th. I'm not quite sure the wait time, but would like to hear from anyone who has applied last semester. Also, I'd like to know who else has applied this spring.

It took a little over a month to hear back last semester. Just gotta be patient.

Ya I did get in. My score was a 746. I actually got in as an alternate. They only accept 60 and they have 10 a

ternates but at the orientation only like 56 ppl showed up total. So I guess I got lucky.

i think my score was 846 and have yet to hear anything back.

I was accepted into the program, but my friend was accepted as an "alternate". I'm not quite sure what this means, does this mean if someone doesn't show for the program, then she gets in? I tried calling the nursing dept. but no answer. Thanks.
