Review Guide For RN Pre-Entrance Exam: 8580001062334: Medicine & Health Science Books @ Amazon.com
That was my bible for a few months
I second what Regular Guy said. Most of the NLN questions come straight out of that book. When you do the practice tests, do the ones in writing because if you test at the Grayslake campus it is all pencil and paper and be sure to time yourself to get used to working under pressure. It is good to have some chemistry and biology courses finished too. That way you are not just memorizing answers, you will know concepts. I know a few people who tried to get the NLN out of the way early because the score is valid for 3 years. It did not work out well. Good Luck!!
And yes, Regular Guy! I was so happy that they sprung us early. I could not see how they were going to stretch that until 3pm. Now back to those Health Streams...

Just throwing this up on the board to see if anyone from CLC who will be starting the nursing program in January 2015 visits these forums! I troll them frequently and would like to get to know some classmates before the semester starts. I know a few from my micro class but I know there has to be more. Looking forward to some responses. See you all at orientation!
