Hey y'all

Anyone else out there applying to the CF 2021 Spring start program? Trying to find other hopefuls ?

Hey! How did you guys verify your immunizations? Did you get the Form680 or just get a copy from your doctors?

I had a copy of my immunizations record and that was accepted. As for the flu shot and TB the doctor had to give me a form when they did it. Side note, make sure they note the lot number and Brand of flu shot or castle branch will reject it.

So I had the fingerprinting appointment yesterday. The college was closed for Veterans Day. Hoping it next Wednesday. Thanks for the info about the pink form! Wow I have a lot left to do. Is the drug test just a walk in?

You can walk in or schedule it at quest diagnostics. Under that section on castle branch you get a list of options in where to take it. Schedule the “electronic drug screen.” You’ll print a form with a barcode on it and take that into lab quest and they’ll  have results sent straight to castle branch. Both times I’ve done it I scheduled with quest online bc it’s just easier with Covid to have a time so you don’t wait long ?

Okay thanks for all the info! I take it you accepted your spot and decided against Pensacola. Do you by chance know if the conference call on the30th will really last for 3 hours? I wanted to take that day off from work to try to do drug testing the immunizations I need and my physical.

I haven’t done it yet. But I think it’s just a walk in at Quest Diagnostics. 

Ooh I didn’t know you could make an appointment, I might just do that.

Yes! I can’t justify the cost of moving to Pensacola especially not knowing if we’re going to be able to go in person LOL! I hope it’s a normal year for us, fingers crossed. My other orientation went the full 3 hours plus went over maybe 20 min for questions so I’d just assume we’ll need the whole time just to be safe. I got my physical yesterday, you can totally take a whole day and knock all that out no problem! I can’t wait to start with you all! Use my email I shared anytime and I’ll message you my number if we need each other fast for questions!

I know this thread is old but I just applied for Spring 2022 accelerated program. I believe I have 57 points?? I hate not knowing exactly how many. Unfortunately, I don't get the resident points since I live in Orange County. I am really hoping I am accepted even though my points aren't very high. Those of you who were accepted, how do you like it so far?
