last night I opened it and was like oh my I will save this for the morning with a fresh cup of coffee. I know finical aid called me and said shell get to us by this week or next with our award letter, I'm just like wow this is a lot LOL but I'm happy to know that finical aid covers uniforms and stuff. also I love that they made our schedule for the semester my GF was in pace accelerated BSN this past year and literally they didn't do any of that they had over lapping classes things they didn't need, she read our and was like well they look more organized than our program. but I'm so excited !

omy thats unfortunate! I did not know it covered uniforms I feel so confused with all this not sure what covers what or what we really need right now sigh

yeah if you look at the uniform form it says is it being covered by finical aid. which is great and I believe our books as well I'm printing all the paper work now and going to look through it. I was thinking to see how much I'm awarded and then see if I should pay out of pocket the uniform and books if it makes sense. does anyone have any pre requesities left to take while in the program?

I think what we need for this semester is the books listed under NUR-101 Basics? There are four books under that tab. I've emailed Lisa asking which all books we need to buy for this sem. She hasn't gotten back to me yet. Did you all do your CastleBranch submissions? I have my drug test left to do. I was finishing up my prereqs this fall. I have to submit the official transcripts for Developmental Psych and Nutrition.

I just did my drug test yesterday, that was the last for castlebranch so I'm done with that part. & I have into to sociology left to do. but I'm going to see if I can do that in the Summer at mercy. I was going to do it during the Winter break but I literally hate the current school I am in and never want to deal with them again LOL. & Im looking at the books now

I hope you find a good and easy professor for Socio. I took Socio in 2009 at City College. Yeah, that long ago!! LOL. Are all our books e-books ? I'm not an e-book person. I can't study from screens. I wish they gave us the option to choose our preference. Do we need to wear our uniforms for the freshmen orientation on the 25th of Jan?

Hi All!

Feeling just as overwhelmed as everyone else, but excited.

I’m still working on CastleBranch submissions.
And I’m with you Kavita, e-books wouldn’t be my preference, but hopefully we’ll get clarification soon. I thought it was 5 books for basics?

As far as the uniform, we won’t actually start wearing it until February, from what I read.

I just got my grade for my prereq left which was Intro to Socio got an A so that part is over. still need my Drug test next wk to finish up castle branch, my only concern is not knowing what we are awarded enough time like what If we need loans to cover other expenses and things of that nature.  this is a heavy expense out of nowhere and during the holidays and information is a bit limited to go ahead and buy things as of right now.

thats what im wondering about as well, I was relying on my loans and financial aid to cover books and etc. but considering we don't have an award letter I'm a little confused. and I want to start reading the chapters we have to read by the 27th.

Me too. Waiting to hear from financial aid.

Spring 21, Evening Session folks,

If you are interested in creating a study group, please email me your name and cell phone # at [email protected]

Also, I think it would be easier to communicate via text regarding class information.

Hi,

That’s great, I’ll send you my info Kavita.
