I did too! I'm in the morning program! I am so excited to start!
Awww how's the day program going for you so far? I had my baby in Jan so I have to start the program next semester. Any tips for me?? Thanks
so far I'm loving the day program. The instructors are great and there for you if you need them. I would definitely start saving because the books are expensive and there is an e-book they want you to buy and it has this interactive quiz thing with it that is really helpful so far.
We start clinicals next week so the work load is gonna get a bit heavier than it already is. So far it's been a lot of reading and the lectures are long but if you study well you'll be ok
Thank you so much
could we buy some books used?
are the test on the power points given?
anything you recommend me reading to get ahead
thanks again
the tests so far are based off the readings and the power points so you do have to read.
and you could definitely get the language of medicine book we need used but the main book for fundamentals definitely get the e-book.
The library there is also great and has all the books you need in hard copy form I've been using that a lot.
I would say brush up on your medical terminology and refresh your A&P and micro knowledge.
Also start to learn some simple nursing stuff like the different bed positions and what they mean because it will come in handy later
wish we coulda met this semester
what edition for the language of medicine?
I think it's the 9th or 10th edition but either or will work fine
Hey I know the semester is over for you guys. Congratulations on completing your first nursing semester. I'm so excited to know how it all went.
Hope all is well God bless.
It was good, very intense but good, stay on top of asepsis, wound care, infections and nursing assessment and youll be fine. The clinical instructors are great and supportive. Read every week don't wait to the last minute. Do prepU again and again and again.

Hi,
I know this is an old post but I was wondering if anybody knew how they ranked students for admissions at Cochran. Is it a point system or do they really just go off your Kaplan score?
