Cochran nursing school

Published

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone out there has any info. on Cochran school of nursing. I am really worried that I will not get in as I did not do well on my TEAS. I got a 76% and have a 3.9 GPA. Is it possible to get in with such a low score? I spoke with one of the admissions counselors who went over my report with me. I asked her if I should retake it and she said no. I just know it is not a competitive score. I have my first interview on Thursday and found out that I would need to write an essay while I am there. I do well with writing but not on the spot. Does anyone have any clue as to what the topic is? I am assuming it is "Why nursing" or "why Cochran". Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get accepted, I applied for the fall also? If so, are you going to attend?

Hi. I will be a second semester student. L over my first semester.. Good luck to u. And you can def get in with your scores. My teas was LOWER than that! They look at the overall student. The perks of a private school.

@nursewr, how did you feel about the school and administration? I am nervous about attending the school. Did you feel the school was helpful, in you passing this semester?

I personally loved the school. Had great experiences with my instructors.. I can't say the school was helpful in me passing, I studied and did well myself, and I did not go for extra help etc.... You have to master time management. I have a hubby and three children.. And I did it.

@ nurewr you have been so helpful. Do you mind if I instant message you, I have so more questions?
