Hello... does anyone know names of some registries that hire for Coalinga State Hospital? I'm having a hard time finding any online.

FYI:
Coalinga is kind of in the middle of no where. Next door is a state penitentiary. I don't know where the heck people would live. I went there for an interview a couple years back, some people told me they commute long distances. It's kind of a wierd location, windy, hot, smells like a stock yard all the time. If you go there, make sure you go to Harris Ranch Restaurant and Hotel, great food, excellent beef. It is safer to work at Coalinga than Atascadero. I've met a few RNs that worked at Coalinga for awhile, and got out, couldn't take it. Different strokes for different folks tho! Good luck.
I found some staffing places. Maxim and Care Now Staffing. The require 2 years licensed experience (instead of 1 or new grad) because of the kind of clients (SVPs) at Coalinga. They said they would not start their new contract till September '11 though.

Platinum Healthcare Staffing has a contract with Coalinga. Currently they require two years of licensure. However, they have a contract beginning in September for less experienced nurses, including new grads. I know this because I'm in the middle of my approval process.

Prime Labor and Staffing out of Fresno provides RN's to the Coaling State Hospital as well. They pay $33 per hour. They tell me they have a Aug start and a Sept start.
