co-worker making me crazy

My co-worker is driving me and everyone else crazy. She constantly has her nose in everyone's business, micro-manages the CNA's, gossips, talks to people she shouldn't about resident's and other work issues. On top of that, she can't remember how to do any of the paperwork, she lies about her background and education- giving herself more credit than she deserves. Constant interruptions to ask me things she should know. No one wants to work with her and all the other nurses ask me how can I stand it. Soooo annoying. I'm thinking of changing floors, but I love where I am. Any other ideas? Oh, and she's friends with the DON! :hdvwl:

One thing you might consider doing just to protect your back is this - DOCUMENT. At night when you go home, if an "incident" happened that day, write it down - that way, if anything ever turns against you, you've got a log of what had happened, and what you did about it. Just a suggestion. .

There are so many wonderful nurses out there, and then there are those that are just in it for the money. I mean we all get paid, but some thats all they care about is the money. the old old saying is true, " you will know them by there fruits." and it makes no difference about there letters behind there name, R.N. L.P.N. C.N.A. ABCDEFG. If there work stinks or attitude is bad, patients are not happy or worse, or they stir things up, and this stuff follows them around where ever they go to work. then you know. and the suggestion to document everything is a very helpfull tool as well, it can definately S.Y.A. if anything comes up.
