CNA in VA how much do they make

I am currently at nursing student at TCC. I work at Sentara Norfolk General. I am thinking about quitting my job because they are not willing to work with my school schedule, and work as a CNA. I was just wondering how much do they make in the Hampton Roads area, any info would be great.

    I think it depends what specialty you work. When I was an aide in LTC, I think I might have topped 12/hr. Though 10/hr is what really stick in my head for some reason, so that might actually be more correct.
