CNA training in WA, how was your facility?

Published

For those of you who have taken CNA training in WA state would you please post your facility, the location (city) and whether you felt the education you received was of good quality or not? It is so difficult to find more than just a couple of reviews of the training centers, schools, etc, especially in one place! Thank you!! ~CS

Hi, I went to Divine CNA in Federal Way. I thought my teachers were great, and tough enough to prepare me. I haven't taken my test yet, but I'm confident. I had the pleasure of working with Maggie, Penny, and Sandy during my three weeks. I have recommended Divine to others, and will continue to.

I attended Kamanga in Tacoma, WA because they offer a weekends-only class that allowed me to keep working full time while I took the course. It was okay, there was some disorganization and time wasting which was more annoying to those of us in the class who were already working the whole week between sessions.

But I learned what I needed to & passed my certification test, as did all my classmates. And it's one of the lower-priced programs in the area, especially if you provide your own gait belt & ciel blue scrubs for clinicals.

Good luck!
